for 1903/04, with tapering round 4 1/2in. barrel signed on three lines by the maker and with patent dates to 1895, blued solid frame with fluted swing-out auto-ejecting six-shot cylinder, chequered hard rubber grips with embossed 'Colt' rampant horse trademark, strong traces of original finish
